15 yr old female Chihuahua Mix

Blanche is a very special girl. She is one of our special needs dogs because she is blind, but she gets along just fine once she learns the floor plan of the house.

Blanche is very sweet and loving. She has amazing hearing and gets excited and happy when you talk to her. Because she is blind, she can be easily startled, she would be best in a quiet calm environment with not a lot of loud noises.  She can be a little fearful of men and prefers the sound of a ladies voice. She can have a little bit of separation anxiety when left alone, she is great with other dogs. She likes to cuddle in tight for bedtime and sleeps great throughout the night. She is great with going potty outside and uses a dog door once she is taught where it is, potty pads will also be useful for her.

Because she is blind she can also get under foot without knowing it, so she will need someone who is aware of where she is at times in the house when you are walking around so not to trip over her.

 She is spayed, micro chipped, dewormed and current on vaccines.
